Mmmm very beautiful! I think the reason it might look like composite (as you talk about above) is that the top part of water is in shadow and probably even rain. While the closest part of water is in sunlight and no rain.

I didn't notice it untill you pointed out, as usual. I do not know how that sharp demarcation came about. I only tweaked the color and contrast in Adobe PS.
As you say, it does look like a composite image.
But why !!!!!.

Hi Ken, very strong lighting, and a near perfect moody image. The composition is well balanced, and the colours are excellent. The image looks a bit soft, though.
Out of curiosity; what PS (or the likes of PS) changes did you apply? There seems to be a rather harsh line in the water, just touching the lower side of the safety bouy casing. It looks a bit like a composite image....
