Hi Ed,
that could be also the solution :), the next neighbor gives them something to eat to keep this attraction...since two years already!
As I'm visiting this place regulary I will keep all friends of this family up to date.
Cheers, Verena

Hi Verena! That Italian family simply sticks to tradition...Italian family don't move easily, especially if they live in the coutnryside..Nice shot and I appreciate the garlic shown on teh road, I'd have blurred the landascape behind more, (just my point of view).

Hi Verena,
Lg, Thilo

Hi Verena, Cool shot! well captured. Considering the setup and subject, it could well be one of mine... ) (hope you take that as a compliment...;o)
Andreas has a very interesting thought; the landscape format for this shot would have been nice indeed, but I think it's not really essential. The portrait shape does match the set up of the pole, and does thus stress the longitudal axis. I think placing the pole a bit more to the right, and more pominently off center would be beneficial to the composition.
Good shot, and a very interesting subject. If I was living on the top of one of these road side poles, I don't think I would be happy to move, as it's an excellent warm spot to enjoy the passing cars...;o)

Hi Verena. Not that unbelievable, as you think. Taking the speed that they are famous for into account, they simply had no time to move in the last two years :-)
Nice photo of the cathegory make-me-smile-instantly.
From a serious point: I would prefer it landscape. Might be a matter of personal taste, but I simply prefer long objects being photographed landscape.
Other than this: Nice work.
Cheers,
Andreas
