You're right Jeff, I didn't really have a choice. Also, the chandelier seems to be hanging slightly askew, not parallel to the beams.

Those were my feelings exactly about the photo. This was taken at a rest stop on the NY thruway. It's a chandelier in the dining area that was hanging right above my head. I couldn't center it exactly, because there was a table there, so I couldn't get any further under it. And I was pulled all the way out on my lens, so I couldn't include any more space in the shot.

Excellent B&W and exposure! I agree with Daniel as far as the composition but sometimes you don't have a choice. Nevertheless, an excellent photo. Jeff

just a passing comment, since I don't know exactly what this is, although I think it's some kind of light fixture...i think it would have been better had you centered the middle circle on the crossbeams...and had both windows been fully included...and the picture given more room on the top & bottom. but i do like this concept.
