Del, the softness out around the edges works for me. My mind sees this shot as an explosion of pink.

Thanks Rebecca for the nice comment. As to the softness, see my reply to Margaret's comment. I guess I was just amazed how complex this little flower was and enlarged it beyond what perhaps I should have to show that. I think one thing I should learn is that a photo does not have to fill the screen to be attractive.

Margaret, I think maybe more than being out of focus as others have also suggested, the fuzzy look comes from excessive enlargement. This was only about the size of a quarter so it if extremely enlarged. I guess I kept it because from the naked eye it was not obvious how complex the flower really was. Enlarging so much did distroy the sharpness of the photo I know. Thanks so much for all of your comments. Del.

I like it, but it has a bit of an effect of making me feel a bit out of focus, mind you having my eyes tested next week, I think I need it
