Roger, Using film is rather like writing a letter to yourself. The shots I've taken still wait in the camera to be developed! I have been dancing about my muse (Aramoana) at night with a flash and adapted plastic rubbish bin taking shots but more on that when the time comes. Actually I was out there in broad daylight and the casr got a bit trashed by a passing band of angry young men so I should be doing things even slower, and the night before I'd been there taking shots and had weird supernatural experiences -lights going sudenly dim (when there was no moon and no lamps visible...) -My dog ran off into the complete blackness and I call for it but hear a strange voice in reply, I call again and the strange voice again... then an unnatural sound like a horse being mutilated (not that I've EVER heard that but that was my nearest equivalent) wo! my hair's standing on end remembering it. I thought the dog had found a sheep but she thankfully returned pretty quickly and I got her in the car, LOCKED THE DOORS or at least tried to, I've never had to do that before from the inside, did a careful three point turn (some one had gone off the road right there and died last month) and HOOOOOOOONED MY WAY HOME. Then the next day the real trouble with the vandals. Word is that the survivor of the accident has gone off the rails and has been pushing his boundaries a bit lately.
And the monitor on the computer has died. Still, just bought an amp and am listening to a 1960s japanese archtop guitar that I've never plugged in before so that's the predominant obsession at the moment. Might be safer than photography!
Bit strapped for cash... Tomorrow the rediscovery of romantic love; The photographing of ravens; all the fun under Liberty's masterful shadow; Tomorrow the hour of the pageant-master and the musician.
Tomorrow, for the young, the poets exploding like bombs, The walks by the lake, the winter of perfect communion; Tomorrow the bicycle races Through the suburbs on summer evenings: but today the struggle.
This is a bit derailed isn't it? I better pull my head in I'm in the bin as I type!

Wow. Wow. Wow. Beautiful movement man, and points out a nicely defined layer of life provided above the snows. Really excellent study.

I like it! Very interesting trees and snow (but no snow in the tree boughs) creates a nice series of lines and curves and texture.
Everything is very nice, but it misses something in sharpness... almost like its slightly washed out and a touch more contrast might make it come together and stick out more?

For the first look I took time to know what is the picture about? but I recognized that after I read It's name. Good angle, keep it up.
