Good afternoon Saeed, Thanks for this detailed reply, I though about the 17 mm however, I can not offered it now as it costs around $799. I think I will keep my money for one more year because you are the second one to advice me to wait.
Yes, I am happy with the canon , you wont believe that I was planning to by the Nikon D100 till Rawabi told me about this canon. It is my first SLR and am happy I did not pay too much money lol! cuz am still learning. I have some dusts I need to take my camera for cleaning too.
Thanks once again Amna

Morning Amna, First of all there is no such digital lens in the market special built for SLR camera, all the lenses in the market is compatible with SLR cameras, unless it is a fixed lens. When you go for such wide angle lens it is a night mare, you should always think about the correct focal length, for example if you are looking at Canon EF 28mm, the truth it is not 28mm,it is 44.8mm,which is not wide angle. If you are looking specifically to 28mm then start with 17mm lens. What you should look for is: 1. The larger aperture is the best (small No.) 2. AF A spherical XR Most of the lenses is not sharp, unless you go for : Canon Image Stabilizer, Diffractive optics lens ,one of the best in the market, it has cutting edge technologies, you can shoot with it while you are moving with high vibration, and the result is great sharpness. Looking to your lenses (18-55mm) is actually 28.8-88mm. If you are asking me what to do, wait one more year, we might get new lenses, it is just a waist of money to buy now. Every one has the same problem adjusting the sharpness in PS. that is as of the dark room in normal day?s film camera, so no problem. You are lucky you have Canon, I have both Canon 10D and Nikon D100.With Nikon it is a night mare, I think it has a static energy problem, every time I clean the lens, after two minutes attracts dirt and dust again, not only that if you change the lens with taking out the battery before, then the dirt goes to the reflected mirror inside the camera, each photo takes me about 30 minutes to clean it in PS. Now it is your choice and your decision and your money :) Saeed

Good morning Saeed, Honestly, chatfy enkesar men shal el kemara kel mekan lol! I have to search for a lighter camera and lenses. I am planning to get a wide angle lens soon inshallah, I need it for landscape and architecture photography, I did all my search and I summed up with the following? 1.canon EF 28 mm (2.8) 2.canon EF 22-55 mm (4/5.6) There are other third party lenses the offer a winder angle but heavy for me and I prefer canon . I already have the EF 18-55 mm (4/5.6), which some consider as a wide angle too. What do you think? Do u have another suggestion? One friend told that no need cuz I have the canon EF 18-55 mm (4/5.6), am not happy with this lens cuz sharpness and contrast need to be fixed in PS in almost all shots.
Thanks Amna

The trick is to carry your camera as you move, it remind you to keep alert, to look for fresh unexpected subject ,as this one ,beside the old interesting stone wall, the perfectly stand still curious cat in perfectly and natural frame within the window, and the result original shot, a choice you wont let it pass, wonderful, Saeed
