jim, i miss a week and look at all the stuff i missed. you've been busy! this is just wonderful! great colors and textures on the barn brought on by the low morning light set against the tetons. btw, are they snow-covered year round? i love how the old fence (cattle yard?) covers the edge of the horizon and filling the plain between barn and mountains. and the final touch, the early morning mists barely visible at the foot of the montains serve to consolidate the mood of the moment. well worth the wait and return trips. excellent photo.
take care, tom

great shot, i can see why its the most photographed barn in the country, there is a famous photographer that shot a pano with a fugi 617 that has a gallery down in the mall below my appartments. its a wonderful landscape, and great mountian picture, i would like to travel there my self....

Thanks Don, Well i got home yesterday at 5:30 PM amd I was sick. Darn Sinus infection brought on by the dust at the badlands I think. Oh well, lest I am not dead. hard to believe I was gone 12 days ! I was on the move a lot more this year so it went fast. over 2000 images, of course not 2000 different subjects !! Gonna post somemore badlands first thenwork backwards. Thanks as always for your kind comments

That old barn sure gets in a lot of photographs but not very many as good as this. This sure is the right time of day for this wonderful scene. How is it to be back home again.?? Don.

And what a magnificent view you got Jim. All the important bits basking in sunlight and traces of cloud trying to hide from you. Tremendous shot. Den
