Probably I would have cut the lower side of the shot to leave her face alone...a beautiful shot, givinf entirely the atmosphere of peace and dream-like world she's probably having in her mind...see you!

You're grand daughter is very beautiful. I don't think this picture does her justice. I like this kind of effect and have used it several times myself. I think the background should be entirely black to get more impact. Just my humble opinion of course, this is your personal style. Best wishes Ricky.
