I've been trying to get a good shot at this particular bird for months. He's there every morning until it gets light enough for a good shot, then he's gone. I got lucky this day. Thanks for your comments.

I really like this shot but I'm partial to these birds and their other wading cousins. I just shot several frames of 400 ISO film of a Great Blue this past Sunday morning. The early morning light with the fog/haze in the background works magic in this shot of yours. Excellent work Richard.

As a matter of fact Luis I did just bump into the picture. I was driving to the river to go fishing. Popped around the corner and there was the shot. Took the pic out the window of my truck. I know its not a high quality photo, just cool! Thanks for your comments.
