Hi Enas, I think you shouldn't use ordinary flash while you are so close to the subject, in such case you may use the ring flash or natural lighting. I think in your image the DOF is good and the composition is great too but the lighting needed to be changed, I think this was a night shot?. Good trial Enas, keep it up.

Hi Enas, this Macro is much better, but in this case when you are using Macro mode, it is better to use alternative light source not the Flash, but i like the effect it generated in here, and the black background, try once again without flash and soft light or natural light .. you will like the result, very well done and regards,

The contrast is great, but I would agree that some of it is a little overexposed. It would be great if that area could be burned back in and get a little of the detail back. But I like the pic regardless.
