Excellent shot Eric of this Yellow Tiger Swallowtail species (I think!). These are the most fluttery-can't-stay-still species and therefore 1/1000sec did help you a lot!! Depth of field too tightly controlled throwing the left wing out of focus. f/8 or more may have made some difference. They keep hovering around the same blooms, perhaps next time, eh!? Emaculate execution nevertheless!!
