Thanks JOann, I did not look at the shutter speed when viewing. What made me think it was a time exposure was the white streak in the lower right, kind of looked like a star trail. This is more dramatic than the original. Don.

Don- In response to your question regarding exposure, according to the image info, exposure time was 1/1000 and aperture was f6.7 I guess I listed the wrong camera when I posted this. This was shot with my Kodak DX 4530. I forgot to check which camera I used before posting the photo. The darkness is a result of my playing around in psp8. I'm going to try to upload the original, but I sometimes have trouble with uploading in this comment section, so if it's not there, sorry!

Excellent clouds formation Joann,superb capture Many thanks for commenting on "restless sea" I was looking in you porfolio for a picture named "Beach" didn't find any,but I compliment on all the stunning sunsets you posted,this is on of my favorites subjects,will never get tired watching many thanks for sharing this superb captures Best regards dear friend

Thanks for your comments. These are actually clouds- not from jets as one would imagine. There were 2 sets of them in different parts of the sky. I thought them interesting. Blessings to all.
