A dry field, so am i sometimes. Sometime we see everything around us gray, down and sad. There is time when your heart just beat enough to keep you at flow.Time where your bleu eyes turn to gray, And your pale skin die. Not sad, not happy. You're just there.
Thanks a lotttt Alessandro! It was so interesting to read you. Sometime it's so close of what i think. How u do that.... Thanks for writing. That is true, i agree that there's always something that makes your day when you open your eye, even just a little. And when it happen it's awesome. Have a great weekend. It's a 3 days weekend here... ;-) Greetings, Joey
I really want to write something to this photo, but I am not really sure of what to say. Your 'about' text touched me a lot. Is it a feeling when you just want to get out of what is happening, of all the people doing things you don't understand, they talk to you and offend you but ignore you at the same time; and all the things around, the environment, all objects and things going on seem to have no solution or visible end? You just want to weep a bit and then sleep for a while, so you are left alone and later you can look at the world differently?
I think that fits well the sunflower field: In spring they grow quickly and soon in summer their happy flowers are wide open, kissed by the sun. They spend every day with growing, riping, and following tenaciously the sun in order to emit their strong colours. But it can't go on forever, the leaves get brown and dry, the yellow petals fade, and they tilt their head and go to sleep - die. But all they did during the year, the frantic movement of their heads, was not futile as it may seem. As teir head bends downwards (in desesperation, or exhaustion?) the seeds prepare for the following year...
But I think when we humans have a day like that, "everything around us gray, down and sad", there is always something, a little thing, a spark, which may cheer you up (a bit, at least)...
I like your photo. Very nice and symbolic. Greetings Alessandro
