Thanks for looking and commenting Patrick. I kind of like to work with natural light with black and white. A lot of my portraits in black and white are serious because I think it gives the mood and feeling it needs. Its funny, up until 6 months ago I was completely digital. I bought an Elan II as a backup camera for my 10D (makes sense btw as you own a D70 if I remember, buy a cheap film body?) Anyhow I put through my first roll of Fuji Neopan Acros black and white and I've been hooked on it since. Tones and dynamic range in black and white film are amazing. Ive even just bought my first pro camera, the eos 1n.

Thanks for the comment Laura :) The serious expression was down to me to be honest LOL. I just love serious expressions in black and white and Stevie only being 8, really did pull it off for me :)

Thanks as always Dina. I didnt think of lightening the eyes but now you mention it, makes sense. How is business going for you? I've recently started a small business up with wedding, portraits etc. I had a look at your site. Nice work. Ive got a dog portrait (first time for everything) shortly so that should be fun LOL.
