Verena - I have no idea what this is, yet I keep look at it. The upper "swirl" seems to be winding into itself. Great. ~~ Debby

Dear Telmo,
to find something sexy doesn't sound silly to me, that is what happens somewhere between your brain windings and your stomach. I take it as a compliment!
Cheers, Verena

Hi Hugo,
you caught me, the shots are straight away from the cam, I guess the automatic whitebalance doesn't work like it should. I checked then b&w version and also different toning, but finally in my feeling the result purely from the cam was in my opinion the best version.
Later in time I will come back to the lamp as it is an inspiring source for me.
Cheers, Verena

Hi Verena, Very intriguing series. The three shots are all quite alike and fit together well.
I feel a bit ambiguous about the white balance. The yellowy brown tone is a bit suffocating. On the iqlight website, the brightness is a bit more fresh and crisp, something I think could benefit the atmosphere in this shot.
Difficult to tell what you did to the toning; is it straight out of the camera or did you apply a monochrome mask? I might even consider a b&w version of this (I know, we've been here before...;o)
The DOF is good, and I think the quite extreme frame division is quite effective in this composition. Out of the three, I like this one best, Most balanced of the three, and the gradients and tonal range is somewhat more subtle than in the two others.
I can see why you like the iqlight! Very clever and creative design! Simple, but functional.
Good, and very consistent triptych. Interesting theme, something to elaborate on!
Cheers,
Hugo

I love the series "the object of photography does not exist", one can get lost in the pale lines and taste the calming effect of the image! Great shot! I particularly like this one, a prompt for my imagination...7x7+
