Once more you;ve proved your expertise in conveying inner processes in a photo. It might be my projection, but "Yes you!!" seems definitely to be accusing someone of something. Thank you for your friendly comment on my "Ephrath smiles". Ephrath is my sister's youngest grand-daughter, her youngest grand-grand-son is, however two years older, which makes tiny Ephrath his aunt! Best regards, Rafi

Thankyou Ahmed for your wonderful comments. What others haven't quite picked up and you almost did, is that he has sun tan lines around his eyes and forehead. That tends to make it look over exposed in those areas.
I will be checking out your portfolio soon.

Biiliana, Biliana, what have you done. That is out of this world. I love that so much. Can you send me the steps you did for that if possible. I would love to know that trick.
Thankyou so much for doing that, and don't worry about the delay. I understand.

Thankyou Ameed. I find it interesting how everyone seems to have different tastes. And how one image can be used to show that. No image is perfect in everyones eyes and yet can be so appealing to some.

Well .. i would say i liked the sepia version the best, it meets my taste more, the B&W is good, but not as life as the Sepia, very well done in here, regards,

Yes I like what you have done. You have gone with the mood in his eyes and given a more slightly darker feel to it. This can only enhance the overall atmosphere. Well done.

Thankyou Kurt for having a go. I like to see people take up a challenge. It gives me an insight as to what other avenues can be taken. The yellowish objects are large sacks of bird seed....nothing a clone tool won't fix..LOL!!

Judi, here's my mono version, not as good as yours, of course, but I'm only starting to learn this. BTW, in the color original, I find the yellowish object in b/g too distracting. Kurt

Kurt, I have attached the cropped original in another reply on this image. You will see the dark area is actually an external doorway. He doesn't really like having his photo taken and has softened his expression with the camera since then. But all the same I like the feeling in his eyes in this image.

Biliana, thankyou for your input. I tried many different versions of BW but ended up settling on the sepia. There were a lot of different BW settings that really suited it but the sepia gave it that something different. I have attached the cropped original in the hope that you would like to work with it and upload it for me to see what you achieve. I appreciate your advise.

Who, me?? LOL : ) I like the square format here, Judi. Is the black area behind the model's head original or PS. It does create a striking contrast to the B/G to the right. Very compelling expression, makes one want to know what he's thinking just now. Kurt

Nice portrait dear Judi, but I dont like too much the yellowish tones! You have two hot spots on his head too, cann`t you darker it. I am sure it would be a great portrait in B&W! Thank you dear Kiss, Biliana
