About What a brilliant day!! A baptism service this morning with around 40-50 extra people present! We held it in the parish hall next door, then came into our building and gathered around the open pool for the baptisms. It was the first I've actually done since being in Martock and one of the young ladies I baptised is the cousin of the bridegroom in the picture above.

Then, after a big family lunch, Tom & Lenka came back to see their wedding shots. And, (phew!) they liked them!! This is one of the ones I felt looked nice in B&W. I hope you like it too!

Thanks for dropping by! I'm off to the evening service now, but I'll catch up with your uploads later!

Best regards to all,

Chris

All is revealed. I now know where the titles came from. Nice toning here Chris and lovely expressions on their faces.

The bride seems to look so much more happy than the groom in every picture :) Charming smiles from both, though. Why not take a close-up with profiles, putting them to look deeeeeep into each others eyes ... not smiling that much? Just a suggestion ... :)

Looks like a very happy couple. Shadows are nicely opened up. Is this going to be your sideline? Weddings by Chris from start to finish. Nice work. Don.

Chris,
Nice skin and white dress tones, however the background behind the groom is unnatural, and in the black is lacking details, don?t can see him arm hold around her.Hug

Nice black and white capture with good composition. It does IMHO lack a little contrast but the one thing Ive noticed with digital is if you add too much contrast you lose detail. I like it though and nicely done.

Of course they liked them Chris - remember one thing ... the hardest of critics are ourselves looking at our own photos :-)

I entered some photos for a local competition, three per category and I could not decide what to submit. I just let my friends choose 3 between them lol

Results still awaited so I will blame them when I lose lol (no I wont really !)

Hi Chris, Very nice shot. Well handled, with the bride close to the wall, but only a minor flash shadow. Very nice shot. The couple looks a bit forced, but I always find that the most difficult thing to prevent.... Well done, and always a pleasure to hear they like your work, isn't it? ....:)

Cheers,

Hugo
