Thanks Jasenka. I had held off uploading this one for a while, but eventually got there. To many things, not enough hours in the day.

Thanks James. I like to show subjects in their deserved light. So many things are overlooked nowadays, that it is good to share them with others.

Thankyou Ameed. Sometimes I can do the ordinary style of photography. Just for once, I have provided an image that hasn't upset people.

Randy, they are fairly big bugs. I put some information in my reply to James as well as a photo from a different angle. That might answer your question a bit more thoroughly.

James, thankyou for your comment. The bus is an Assassin bug, formally known as a Reduviidae from the Hemiptera family. I took another image that day from the other side. I have attached it, although my DOF was way off. You can see it has stabbed another insect on it's spike. These can inflict painful bites on people.

An odd looking bug you've captured. Must be a pretty big one...or a small rose blossom.

Good macro, Judi! I like how you combined only half the rose and got a good image of the insect. Great colours, too. Dave.
