I think this is your best skate photo from what I've looked at so far, composition is perfect, timing is right, and I like the overall cool tone of this photo. The subject really stands out nicely.

Ryan,

Thanks for the kind words. It took alot of work to get Sean into this one. At the time we started shooting I think the shot was better. The sun was directly behind that large oak and it really back lit alot of fall foliage. But it took awhile to get the trick. This is the exact photo of the one crook he landed... there were over 40 tries.

Cheers,
Toby

Paolo,

You are completely wrong. Sorry. I think Mr. Hanley might even be offended by that comment. It took us a little over an hour and a half to get that shot. Over 40 tries, alot of big bails and his nice school pants will be forever skate pants now. He was even late for band practice.

This spot is known to the local skate crew in Appleton as the "Cancer" rail. I don't know how it got that name, but thats what they call it. I also have a shot of Eric doing a frontside 50-50 on this rail. If you'd like to see more... for proof... let me know.

Its on the REAL!

Cheers,
Toby

Awsome shot Tobiah, really great angle and lighting. very well done. Have you ever sent any of your photos to magazines? If you haven't i think you should, your photos are really good. I can definately see one of your photos in a magazine. I know some don't accept digital but there are some that do. Again i think this is a very good shot. Keep up the good work.

Seems the guy is photoshopped onto the background? If it was so the idea would be great, but I see the editing is quite far from being perfect. Am i wrong?
