About This is Hudderfield, West Yorkshire, as seen from the hills near the M62 abd Slaithwaite.

the tiny red pin you can see on the far horizon - just right of centre - is Emley Moor Mast, the tallest free standing structure in the UK at 1062 feet.

I was mainly impressed with the moon's reflection of the damp road, but once I'd corrected the levels in PS it revealed a massive glow coming from the city below - one that contrasted so mcuh from the blues of the natural sky.

Great shot, almost looks like the sky is on fire and the contrast as you say with the sky is nice.
