I'm holding my camera on my stomach, to get a lower point of view, as if I was a kid, or if it was my 3rd eye. a 45mm lens, which is close to the theorical focal distance of 24x36, and therefore provides a more natural perspective. I also try to match as close as possible to 1/30th, in order to get something close of the human perception. I want to capture one of the many seconds from my running world, one of the 24 images we can see in a second. Sometimes, all the surrounding elements become fuzzy for us, and we need to stop and think on our feet. Running often means escaping. We need to breathe, see, feel one of those 24 images and instants more than the 23 left.
