About Felt the need to load this one up as it's grey and miserable here today. This was taken on Tuesday and this is the Half Mile Lake at Longleat with the two packed Safari boats taking people around 'Gorilla Island' ~ where two huge silverbacks live in a mock stately home complete with a cable cartoon channel!!

You gotta smile!

Haven't you?!!

Aw, come on! It's Friday! Smile back at me! ;-))

That's better! :-))

Best regards, Chris

Great photo Chris, just don't talk to me about cable TV - I have just received my bill from NTL. For being such a good customer my monthly bill has just gone up £20 and now into treble figures lol (phone/tv/broadband).

I wonder, can I borrow one of your silverbacks - I could do with an advantage when I speak to the monkeys in customer support

Best wishes,
Steve

Hi Chris, I wonder what you're doing on a lazy sunday afternoon, to quote the best British band ever.... This is the embodiment of what I'd like to do:) Maybe not with the canal boats, but when I lived in the UK, I used to go out to the banks of the thames, and just enjoy a leasurely stroll, especially in the autumn. The partially overcast sky, as well as the beautiful colours made me forget the every day worries.... Thanks for making me remember those days...:)

Cheers,

Hugo

HEH HEH...Yep I did smile, THANKS!!

Well at least you put on 'normal' photos when it's a gray day (unlike me who goes wild with abstracts!! LOL)

This is a very nice image, as usual of course! It looks like it might have been brisk and windy out!? Choppy water!

Lori :)

Nicely cropped Chris-- and of course I'm always intrigued by boat photos. The background with the fine autumn color is very nice here as is the sky. The gorilla story adds to the interest of this image so here's a smile for you ;>). Cheers. Craig

Good shot. For "critique" could say that small crop from the left would be possible, imho.
