Yes, oversharpening creates noise. Noise filter is a programme you can get off the net, that reduces image noise.

Don't know what you mean by Neat Image here Judi. Believe I probably automatically uped the sharpness tool, un necessarily on this, and din't really need it. This would create noise, right??

Hey ole pal. sorry but i am always incredibly busy, have just been checking up on your latest work and see your 828 user now.bueatifull camera but does have a slight noise problem as seen in this shot but i must say it has also given it an effect that makes the picture look soft and artistic. keep up the good work(well there is a saying that goes find a job you love and never work another day in your life) ricco vo

A bit noisy Larry. Colours are good. Try and get hold of Neat Image and you will see the difference.
