About My first attempts at Polaroid manipulations. This was all about seeing what could be done. The "white lines" are actually clear, you're just seeing through the plastic to the underside lid of the scanner. Anyway, to achieve this I peeled the image off the back and flipped it over. Then I started scratching into the emulsion (?) with a seam ripper. I don't know how I feel about all the mess I did in the bushes but there's no ctrl z here ;). Also, the real sky was a bit more detailed with silverlinings amongst the clouds, but I'm guessing Polaroid film (or at least the type I was using) wasn't sensitive enough to pick up that light. I'm not sure what type of film it was because my friend loaned me the camera "pre filmed up " ;).

Anyway, I think I can do better and I am excitedly awaiting an bulk order of film off of Ebay for more experiments. In the meantime I'm reading up on a few sites so if you know of any tricks of the trade I would love to know. Thanks for looking!

at altphotos are some excellent pola-manipulations...I would not scratch so much...the picture itself seems to be very fine in smooth and blurry colors, imho
