About I wanted to see what I could accomplish in Photoshop CS blending several pictures. I created the sphere and the background, then I combined 3 different photos of animals from the net. It took a lot of fine painting in of areas... but after 7 hours or so, this is what I ended up with... Let me know your thoughts... especially any improvements.

How utterly amazing - 7 hours - I agree about a little more space top /bottom - so as to really show off this remarkable piece of work to it's best advantage, but your eyes really need a rest now. Many congrats

Thank you and yes you are right... it wasn't until I saw it on the thumbnail page that I noticed the lack of space, lol, I'll probably fix that tomorrow... tonight my eyes are doing the two-step after working so long on it. Thanks again... and thank you Carolyn

Masterful! This is exciting creativity. You have merged the three animals in such a way that one would believe this mythical creature truly existed. The soft colours and textures are lovely. The sheer satin feel of the sphere is remarkable. The only thing I would nitpik would be to leave a little more space at the top and bottom, maybe 1/4 inch.
