Nice effect done to this capture. I've a done similar effect in the past by creating a black and white layer over the top of a colour and reducing the opacity to around 20-50% :) Nicely done :)

She looks like a doll. I really like the hint of colour here. Very nicely done.

Cheryl - it's looking nice :) You might want to try it with a shot without the flash. I do like the muted colours.

Ok - here's my first try. Thanks for the hint. I love it much more than the harsh (lighting) feeling I have in the 2nd photo. Tell me what you think OK? Or if you have any ideas...I welcome them. cherylogle@hotmail.com

Ahhh - see I always forget to change the opacity. I will have to do that next time. :)

I made two layers of the file. Originally colour. I converted the top layer to black and white, and then made a mask. With this mask, I erased back over the parts I wanted in colour, but only at about 50% opacity. I don't like too much colour in the image or it looks gaudy, I think :)

Practice makes perfect so you MUST have practiced a lot. Did you manipulate this with PS? What was the formula you used? I can't get this kind of color. I love it.

Cheryl - not yet, but I hope to very soon :) I am still practicing right now. I'm due with my 3rd child on March 1st, so I'm going to really kick myself into gear after he is born.

Amanda! What a great photo and the color is perfect! You are so good at this. Did you start a business yet or you just playing around? I think you should start hiring out if you haven't done so yet...
