Low crawling was the only way to get close to these two. The Godwit and the Willet were sleeping when I first approached, belly crawling for about an hour got me in close enough but both birds kept a cautious eye on me at all times.
Great shot of these birds, Paul! I like how they're in similar, but reversed positions. Sounds like you put in a lot of effort to gain your reward of a good shot! Well done! Dave.
