Hi Sérgio, I remember....:) Have you tried taping it to the lens of the enlarger? That might work.

I agree, it's no excuse.... Now the days are getting shorter again, I just might get everything in gear again.... I used to have an entire room with all baths, running water, the works. It'll take some time to adjust, I guess;)

Cheers,

Hugo

hi hugo,
i guess you hit the point again, remember i still don't have a filter holder? so i hold them below the lens when i enlarge. the thing is i started to hold them closer to the paper, maybe the efect was lost in part by that. i will try and see if the efect is changed by that.
i will use a n? 4 filter next time i guess it would be better.
hey! and that's no excuse! my darkroom has 120x80cm (it's my drawing table!) :)

thanks for the kind comment.
regards,
sérgio

Hi Sérgio, A very good print, by the sound of it some eleaborate printing:) Would be nice to see an unmanipulated / dodged scan of the negative as a comparison, though.... I only think the predonminant tone in the foliage is a bit heavy / dark. A few secs shorter under the enlarger, or with a higher contrast filter if you used multigrad paper would balance that area a bit more. But then again, that's a personal opinion; the dark tones work well with the atmospehre. Good shot, and a very nice print... I envy you! Wish I could setup my darkroom too, but had to sacrifice it when my son was born...

Cheers,

Hugo
