Hi JIm,
What a find this was!
Yes, a LOT of stories this boat must have!
The contrasts in tones and colors are especially nice Jim.

Neat pic. I love old boat pictures. I would bet there would be some great fish stories. : ) Tara

When I look at this shot Jim I keep singing the words "Stranded by the lake" to the tune of the song that went "Blinded by the light". Don't know who did it. It is such a powerful image it makes feel as though I want to repair the boat and shove it out on the water.

Great composition, Jim! Lighting is excellent. Well done!
Thanks for your comments on my Old Church. It's 6 or 7 miles north of the Perimeter Highway on the River Road.
Dave.

Nice Jim I like the soft focus up front and then great focus fading into infinity.
Very well done.

Always sad to see a retired boat no matter how big or small they are. This is a great capture Jim, beautiful background and location :-)

Best wishes,
Steve

This is outstanding, everything about it is just right. The colours of the boat and the surrounding weeds just glow. The angle of the boat gives a great diagonal line that just tips the horizon. The fact that the water almost looks as though it is flowing into the boat, adds to the story - as you said - 'if it could talk' A truly wonderful composition many congrats Jim

Hi Jim!
This is a real nice photo!
I really like the tilt of the old gal, and the square crop is perfect for the shape of Her!
The old paint and lettering on the sides is neat!
The late day sun gives a nice warm glow!
