I was lucky to be invited to an open sea trip on a shrimp-boat working at 28?38' N and 96?22' W (off Karankawa Beach, between Galveston and Corpus Christi, Texas). While I was onboard, the captain asked me why photographers took pictures of everything like fruits, flowers, pets... but not the fishers? products. ?Is that a problem or anything wrong with fish or shrimp if they appear in photography?? ? To me, I never heard of such a problem. If you knew, please tell me. These shrimps are just off the trap. They are in their real and pure colors without photoshop manipulation. (Oct 2, 2004)
Ron: I made an error on spelling in my recent reply to you. What I meant was, "I am just his guest onboard". I'd like to add one detail of life on boat: they use to cut-open the shrimps in 2 pieces, then press agaisnt the exhauting-pipe. The juice from shrimp meat holds the shrimps in place until they are ready to go with beer. To give you an idea, here is the way to go...
