About Keeping pace with life's demands is managed with difficulty for this poor elderly woman.
It seems she's had enough sorrow in the years gone by.

Great portrait work you have. Some people can do it - I don't seem to have the knack but you sure do.

Enjoying your whole protfolio. I hope you find all the time you want to follow your passion.

The lines and the wrinkles might say that she is 'worn out' - But her eyes still have that sparkle of 'life'.

Wonderful image with so much pathos of human life.

well done.

regards,
ken.

Khaled....You keep astonishing us.... In actual fact I like this one more than "witty". The hand covering one eye provides more meaning to the amount of suffering that this old lady has gone through.....keep it up my friend

Very strong portrait. You can see her life history in her skin and face. Yet there is still much life in that eye! Incidentally, the bracelet on her arm makes a very interesting focal point.
Regards, friend.

Indeed, the face tells all of her sorrows. I really admire photographers who manage to take portrait so upclose, especially those on the streets. I wish I can do that one day... but I do lack that kind of courage. However, this image did push a little of my motivation. Thanks.

Khaled, your perspective with the womans hand up to her face, gives us a feeling of despair. From her expression and weathered skin you can see years of hardship. A very powerful picture. Alison

What an excellent capture Khaled, another lovely one from your lens, I am not sure about the DOF Khaled, i would prefer if the focus on the eye and the face, not the hand, but this is of course my humble opinion, and this doesn't mean in any way the picture is less than wonderful, Very well done, Regards,

How do you approach the beggers and take such natural portraits that r full of character?
Do u personally know them, or u just ask if they don?t mind their picture to be taken
I want to try the same type of pictures but thought I'd ask you first!
Lovely image again! 7/7

A moment's tiredness, and a lifetime of hard work, are summed up in this picture. Yet the dignity and indomitable spirit of the subject shine out. Very moving. Added to favourites, definitely a '7'.
