This is photography when I found a lot of inspirations. Like the light you've used, contrast and also the choice of flower ... sunflower (helianthus) ? I think that idea convert it black and white was super, cause it represents better flower body ...

A good B&W floral can be hard to achieve. With floral photography its usually the color that grabs at one's attention. What I love about b&w floral images is that its no longer about the beauty of the color, but of the shapes of the petals themselves-it allows the real beauty of the flower to be shown. Of course not every floral image works well in b&w-but I believe the one you have here works perfectly. The details are just superb, and the composition couldn't be better. Well done~

I understand what you mean Arwa.. My friends Amna & Rawabi always tell me to stop photographing flowers, and work on some other subjects, which I'm trying.. But I alwasy come back to the flowers.. Maybe not like you, B & W.. :)

Hi Arwa, I like your floral BW shot! It's very very nice. Actually I usually skip flower shots because I find them boring, but this one is really interesting for its perpective and small dof.
I am sure that this bw version is much better than the corresponding color version. BW has the powerful ability to put shape in great evidence without distractions.
