What a composition Alison,
The colors and lighting are wonderful. I like this clear blue sky.
I just wonder how you get this clarity without any artifacts?

Dear Alison, YES it's, I mean nothing is ugly, but there is ugly manner some people have.
And the thing that make things ugly or beauty, is our eyes, then after that, our brain, and and then our mind. So if there is something ugly or beauty, it's in our mind, and nowhere!

At this time of year when everything is all brown and gray it's nice to be reminded of more colorful times. I love the diagonals in the composition. You had everything under control, as always.
