About	This is an image I made to express how I felt dealing with the illness of my mother who suffers from severe emphysema. The rose is a symbol of my mothers life stained by the affliction of an incurable condition. The thick clump of branches is a barrier which prevents me from reaching out to help my mother. These are also bound together with the knowledge that this barrier can never be removed.

Your understanding of the illness and more importantly, your awareness of the limitations that you have been dealt, are key to your ability to cope with it. I'm certain your mother understands your love and support.

powerful - great presentation - I know the pain of having ill parents and the inability to help - sometimes I think I would give it all away to change places with them to restore their health -

I guess acceptance helps. The knowledge holding the barrier together is to my eyes the least natural part of this image Mark.
This is meaningful use.
