Gabrielle, I have chosen this picture to comment on at length as I am approaching 10000 in my K rating and I want this pic to have the honour of taking past that point. It is such a magnificent image. The exposure is spot on, the colours are magnificent and the silhouetes are out of this world. To top it all the composition is perfect. It is one of those pics that would not have been possible if the leaves were still on the trees so my congratulations in spotting such a wonderful scene and thanks for sharing.

I think a Nikon has some settings that will let you take pictures inside without flash. I have a friend with one and it works very well.
