Chad,
This is what I like about black and white. The contrast is very clear here and sharp. I need to learn how to determine whether a picture is better in BW or in color. And yours I found it beautiful...not to mention the boy's expression...:)
Congratulations!

Dear Chad, I
there is two different matter, bluring and sepia toning.Assume that you will use Photoshop:
Bluring: Firt edit all of yours, and then (for best result) Merge all visible layers(i.e. mrge visible) and then duplicate the resulted layer. then with gussain blur, make a blury layer that must be strong blur layer. then change (lower) the master opacity of blury layer and adjust to satisfy your own will.
Sepia tone: Although there is an action Set in Photoshop called Sepia, you can do it with a Adjusment layer. First you must done all edits on your work, then make it flatten, then convert it to B&W and then make a New Adjustment layer(that works only on Non background layers) and make a Hue saturation ... layer. then select the colorize(in lower right of dialoge Box) and by chhnging(lower) the Hue and saturation, the result is in hand!
My e-mail and yahoo ID is in my bio so you can call me for more.

Hey Mohammad, my friend I actually like your sepia tone better then the B&W. How did you do the sepia tone and the blurring?

He doesn't look too sure he wants to be there! :) Nice composition. It's a good shot. Well done.

Hi dear,
check this alternate too.
I though for some reasons, maybe it's better to change the color form to sepia and add some more blur to edges.
