I was not the only one who thought the reservoir might make a good subject that day. This is a wide-angle shot trimmed to panorama format. I also took some "true" (swing lens and rotary) panoramas.
Bertram, I can't claim any credit for this one, as it is from the shop scan to CD-ROM. I do usually scan my panorama negs on a flatbed scanner, but this is cropped from a standard frame, and therefore the Fuji DPE shop handled it. Their scans are now 1,840 x 1,232 pixels, which is quite enough for the web (and Usefilm).
Your handling of the neg film's colour is simply great. As far as I remember you scan with a flatbed and I have never seen elsewhere flatbed results from 35mm comparable to yours.
I's sorry to hear of this thorn in the flesh, Chris, and pray that you will know His healing. Thank you for your encouraging comments at such a time. I value them all the more knowing you are battling with such a painful condition.
Superb quality shot, Roger ~ no chance of this one coming from your 'toy camera'. I like the various lines and the startling red jersey in the centre of the frame. Best regards, Chris P.S. Regarding the 'pain pictures' ~ I get occasional bouts of fibromyalgia and this one has started particularly painfully. The medication is helping but, as well as dulling the pain, the tablets also dull the senses!
