About I think the new version needs to be uploaded in "black" also. I think its much better then the first black version. Less cluttered! =)

Comments/Thoughts/Ideas are much welcome! Always nice to hear what other thinks.. easier to become better then! =))

Cheers

Don't know how you got it but the result is very successful! I am drawn to study every bird in the image and the overall composition flows across very well. Congrats!

I am not sure which photo you are comparing this one to but I think it is very good.

this shot should be the first one in a book about the professional photography. very classic. excellent composition and lighting. traditional b&w crop. it is one of the best shots I ever saw. Try to find on the net the works of Edward Hartwig.Your style has common points. best regards, witold

These are not a birds.
This is image of soul which is lost and now trying to find a way to get out of dark.

Hi Patrick, I could've sworn I already commented on this shot; had to check your portfolio... Quite difficult to compare the two. The previous one has a slightly stronger contrast; Worked well too... The composition in this crop is definately less cluttered, and much more balanced.

Cheers,

Hugo

You got in troubles with this shot ;) Also I?m not decided about the two versions, this is very strong and elegant too, I love black background, but I think here it gives a touch of dramaticism to the scene that contrasts with the sense of freedom of the flight, in the other one the white background is more suitable and the whole photo is a hymn to the joy. Don?t worry dear Pat, this is only my opinion, the only thing I?m sure of is that you are really creative and you live photography with passion and love that you transmit us. Hugs, Max

I like this better, Patrick... although it white is also beautiful.
