Yes, like how the eyes are kind of hidden, as I would imagine the person inside might feel. Love the work you've done with this series. Interesting view, detail, & feeling to something one wouldn't otherwise feel or see.

I don?t really agree with the previous post, I think the blur and lack of positive identification of the ?model? suits this composition. It also adds to the heroine sense of focus (I can only imagine that is) the photo project states ?Try to create the most heartfelt and honest portraits you can. Emphasize a connection between yourself and your subject and share it with all of us? I don?t know you but if you can connect to this, I think it connects to inner city Detroit though. it?s a beautifully depressing photo. Well done. ~Mike

If she is on drugs like it seems, I really would have liked a very detailed photo: this kind of picture should dig faces. This romantic blur doesn'y match the subject, in my opinion.

I dont see why you put this image in the richard avedon catagory. I guess it could match is fashion but I dont feel it really relates to him. However it is a good image with good lighting, exposure and composition.

Very strong photo and message. I would have preferred it with a little more contrast, but it works. I especially like the fact that her eyes are hidden in shadow... as is her soul. Rose
