Chris... this is stunning! I love the layers you have in this image... the sturdy rock in the foreground, the crashing water in the middle and wispy clouds in the background. The fact that the lighthouse stands out so much is amazing...
Sorry there isn't anything to add to this image... it's perfect as is!

Spectacular view indeed, I have never seen anything quite like this.

Hi Dot - no secerts here!! This was for three seconds at f/29.
Also, I very much copied this style from other members here on UF - this individual in particular inspired me to develope this technique - If you have time, take a look through his portfolio, he hasn't posted anything in months, but does very strong work.

chris, incredible! you have managed to take land, sea, and sky and turn it into a graphical composition. but not your average graphic. to me, the combination of the wet, striped rocks below the misty water below the striated colors of the sunrise (?) creates something that appears to be a solid geological formation. very well done!
