About I took a tripod with me, but it didn't help much. It was freezing and the wind was blowing. It didn't help that a security guard kept asking me to leave with my tripod. :)

Excellent, Eric - It's a landmark, and you captured it well. I love the crowd milling around below the tree. I don't really understand why tripods are considered a threat, but I've encountered that attitude before.
