About	Had these orchid shots and thought I play with them in PS a little and how they came out. This is the first I think I like this better then the colour version, how about you?? Shot indoors at Longwood Gardens Camera on monopod Flash held off camera Scaned from slide using an Epson 3170 Photo scanner Converted to black & white in PSE2 Comments and thoughts are appreciated

This is so unique... such deep contrasts make for a very interesting image! I wish that there was a little more space on the top so that the petal wasn't cut off though.

The B&W does bring out the detail but I am going to admit I miss the lovely colors. Some things are just meant to have there delicate colors enjoyed. I love lavender shades an so many orchids have some lavender. Del.
