Well Pat, I've read the comments below. Seems to me when we work in photo shop we are creating an image, our vision, no different than any other medium an artist chooses to use. I for one like this, no love this photo. You were honest in stating you used Photo shop, so you took two of your works of art, and blended them flawlessly into one. Beautiful work & well done! Congrats. Dottie

Great composition, the panorammic format, the low horizon, the lines in the clouds and of course the geese flight, they all work well together to build the impression. PS. This comment was created using a digital text processing apparatus ;)

My bad Uri. It was very late at night, thought I saw something in you portfolio that was shot on digital. Anyway, I really like your portfolio. And thank you for your comment.

Excellent PS work and fantastic colours. This is one of your best images. PS work is just a modern name of the photo darkroom. It is here to stay so enjoy it and learn from it but don't deny your photographic skills.

This is a great sunset made all the better by the added geese! Photographers have manipulated images for as long as film has been around... burning in, dodging, bending the paper etc etc etc... Photoshop is just a mess free way of achieving the same thing so like you I'm all for it! To me a good photo is one where the photographer has had the vision to create an image from an instant in time that strikes a chord with the viewers senses in some way.
Excellent work and carry on with the PS!

Well, Pat. first- thanks for your comment and second- well, i do not use a digital camera, i'm not sure why you thought so. but most importent: no, if you wouldn't tell there's no chance that i will know, but still to me it doesn't make sense. and yes, we can go on forever like that... all the best, Uri.

LOL,
So tell me, If I haden't disclosed the fact that I added the geese would you have Known?
I have posted the sunset shot earlier with no manipulations accept frames and singing.
The debate, Yes, It does go on. As well as film Vs. Digital. It's a bit ironic that you shoot on digital and opose PS manipulation. I shoot film and have no problem with it.
Photographers have been manipulating there work since the invented the enlarger. When you think of it the entire process is a manipulation. To what extent, is the debate. SOme of the most famous photos you have seen where shot large or medium format or even 35mm and the negs retouched by hand.
I am personaly Okay with it but would never try to pull off a manipulation as a pure photo right out of the camera.
Photography is not not a game, therefore there is no cheating. But there is honesty.

Well, what can i say? great colors you've got there, but 'geese added'?! so, what is the point? well, i know, it's the old ongoing arguement about PS. i don't like the idea of it... Uri.
