James, I think it is an unusual and interesting view. I feel that my attention oscillates, rather than moving from foreground to background and settling there. That's what I found a little unsettling.

Thanks for your comments Cary. It took quite a lot of effort to let my spirit start wandering after it had been caged for most of my early life.

Thanks for your comments Michael. I agree that there's no dominant point of interest in the image. I posted it because it's an unusual view, and wanted to see how others saw it. When you looked at it and noticed the "competition" between the foreground and background, did you keep oscilating between the two, or did you settle on the background?

Another gorgeous scene James! Read your profile and am truly envious of your wandering spirit and ability to let it happen. Your portfolio is inspiring, keep on shooting and show us more adventure stories. Have a great New Year, Cary

Very pretty. Nice contrast, a blurring of the water, especially in the larger waterfall near the back. I feel, though, that the foreground and background are somewhat in competition with one another. The three flows in the foreground would seem to be the natural focus of attention in this sort of composition, but the large flow in the background is, to me, the most interesting, and my attention is drawn back there.
