It's amazing how different the mood of this version and the B/W are. This one is cheerful, whereas the B/W is emotionally dark. I like them both!

I like both these landscape photographs very much Rebecca and actually prefer the colour version to the B&W in this instance :-)
Best wishes, Steve

Christmas is over, and I'm out of my gray mood, so I perfer this version over the b&w. While the b&w is good in its own right, I think this one shows much more detail of this lovely scene. Nicely seen and photographed, Rebecca. Jimmy

Hardly look like the same road, I looked at the other one first. Now this one looks safe for you to travel. I am not sure which one I like best, but I think I would prefer to drive this version. Del.

Classic country road! I like the color better than the B&W. It seems much brighter and warmer. Great job.

Soft muted tones and a beautiful cloud laced aqua sky. Such serenity, so inviting to walk down that gravel and dirt road, see what is beyond the hill.

I think each one can stand on it's own merits, Rebecca! It' a very well composed shot, and the colours of the sky and fields are very good. Dave.

Fabrice...I was shooting at F9, which is the best my little Fuji can do. I have my focus on center focus usually, which could be why it's a little blurry. And yes, my wide angle does have a blue halo at times around the edges. But even with all it's little problems, I still like to play with it at times. It's those little distortions that make them unique. And I always prefer the moodier, so the bw here, did it for me. :)

Nice country scene Rebecca. What are the conditions of your shot (f and Ap)? I don't know if it's the choice of the DOF, or the problem of your wide angle objective when the light is strong (I have the same with mine :( ), but the trees on the foreground (left part) seems to be a little bit blurry, no? I had the same problem, and when you zoom on the zone, you see a second, often blue, line around the constrasted area (here probably the branches). Or you choose a particular DOF and focus more behind you, is it the case? Anyway, the scene is well taken. I'm always suprised by the strong differences existing in the atmosphere between the B&W shot and its colored version. In this one, it is more difficult to have the same feeling that in your B&w version (for me). The later gives more the way to the imagination (for me) for such scene. Difficult question : What did you prefer(hehehehe)? Congrats Rebecca

I agree, each has different mood and taste, but I prefer the BW one, maybe because it's moodier :)

I like this as the tree line gives a good 'depth' to this shot and the curve in the road leads you into the centre of the photo. Good work, well done.
