Unusual image but very nice composition and i like the feeling that you put in your picture. Perhaps, the dark part is too important, but it's only MHO.. Congrats Mary. I'm pleased to have a new friend having a such beautiful portfolio.

I am not the type of person that listens to a sad song and becomes sad, or sees a sad pinture and becomes sad etc etc. I can create sad images even if I am happy, and this because I explore ideas, i do not identify with them!!! It is me the one who directs the image not the image my mood. Wait untill you see the next colorful images!!! For the time being I explore and depict ideas. Kiss!!!

Nostalgia is always dark, because it's about the feeling rather than about what we see. But it's also always bright, because it is a form of longing to be at a point we can recognise. And it's always really about the future. Like most human emotions, it's full of contradictions. Great piece of artwork, Mary.
