Amazing photograph.... I've been reading a lot on digiocams, but till know the Z1 hadn't managed to grab my attention... But after seeing this ultra-sharp picture with it's perfect tonal range and colours I am going to dig into the matter.

Excellent details! Just look at the scars on her face ... that could be from amorous matings, sorting out the other females, and even from energetic cubs! Good work HB!

Thanks Howie, my wife and I spent today in the park and the lions got so close at some times that we could almost touch them! The park also has a nursery camp where we were allowed to touch the cubs. (Linn's pic http://www.usefilm.com/image/653010.html)
