This picture has all the classic dichotomies: inside/outside, traditional/modern architecture, sinuous line/linear geometries, above ground/subterranean, stone(natural)/steel (manmade) --- set with a refreshing asymmetry --- and a wry footnote, the human whose scale is a perhaps a commentary on man's presence in the universe. Perfection.
Nice shot..I think a square crop would be my preference here with the railing being the first thing I see, then the figures below. But then, that is for the impact, and not the architectural history here. I do love the architecture also. Well done.
