Aah! Another of those ghost houses! Kind of fun to see your portfolio since I know the territory in South Dakota and Nebraska. Have lots of friends there and lived in Gregory, SD, for a year along time ago. Returned to the area last year. It's breathtaking sometimes! Great job!

pat, interesting how your prarie ghosts keep calling me. every time i look at your profile i find myself clicking on these first. i live in semi-rural virginia (right on the edge of civilisation) and i get to see many of these. always wanted to shoot a few but every time i drive by one either the light is all wrong or i'm in a hurry. perhaps this what attracts me to these photos. although, it's not quite just that. your "treatment" is outstanding. most significant for me is the 3D effect amplified by that eerie, dark soft-focus you put on the surroundings. excellent shot!
