Oh yeah, I used to do that with Picasso and such in art class in elementary school. I'll have to try practicing it more often.

Oh - In my humble opinion (or you can just put IMO) You can always shoot something like this horozontally in the third right (or left) side, don't have much in the middle and have a sunset or something in the last third. The Law of thirds. Real important to know and once you get it you start breaking the rule (but it still has to work) It's all about balance. Whenever you look at a photo notice were your eye goes first, then second, then third - shouldn't go too much further than 3 KEY points. Try it - it works. (but look at good stuff - no ads) Take care, Mark

Yeah, you were right. Thanks for your critic! I think in the future I will take pics of buildings like that horizontally and then crop them. For some reason, whenever I take pics vertically they don't turn out. *looks puzzled* What does "IMHO" mean?
